Overview

This project involved the meticulous restoration of the Saint Davids Tower roof built in 1927.

To maintain historical authenticity and enhance the property’s longevity, we replaced the deteriorated bituminous membrane with a premium Italian copper cover. Every copper joint was precision-brazed and sealed using flat seam techniques, securing a completely watertight, structurally sound finish designed to protect this heritage building for generations.

An integrated micro-ventilated roof substructure was installed ensuring continuous passive ventilation to control condensation and extend the life of the timber substrate.

A custom copper hatch was manufactured and installed to guarantee safe access to the tower.
